What's more embrassing, a picture coming out on the net with you kissing another man or being on a cover art of a CD with birds flying behind you? Let's go with kissing another man. Lil Wayne and Birdman, who claims to have taken over as Lil Wayne's father at the age of 12 when Wayne's died. The picture circling the net has the two kissing, full on the lips. Birdman has claimed the kiss is dad to son, but what family's you know kiss like that? None? Yeah I can't find one, but let's get on to the CD, 'Like Father, Like Son.'

Since 'The Carter,' the Hip-Hop world has fallen in love with Lil Wezzy, with the exception to myself. Wayne's flow to me is still the same whine as always, and feel his flow is all that has improved. Lyrics haven't jumped all too much, but what do you expect from his first album, that was recorded when he was 14?
LFLS opens with a over-used south sampling of the voice on the hook, "Over Here Hustlin'" has Wayne spitting first. While his mic skills are better than Birdman, Wayne still don't measure to the status that some believe he's at. He's no Jay, so he should just stop there. First single "Stuntin' Like My Daddy" has a cool flute over the hook, but the commerical feel of the track makes the songs lose steam fast.
No worries though, not the whole CD is going in the wrong direction. "Know What I'm Doin'" has good features from Rick Ross and T-Pain, the leading south hook singer currently. "Don't Die" is nice interspective track with Wayne taking the lead. These type of records have lasting power, not those meanless money, hoes, money tracks. "Leather So Soft" has the same feel in the beat, but the verses don't match.
While Wayne is getting up there in the Rap world with his improved flow over the years, his lyrics still aren't in the area where the best reside. Birdman has the voice, but obviously doesn't spit the lyrics that you feel. Although this feels as a worthless release, Wayne shows his love for the person that lead his life to where it is today. LFLS doesn't completely disapoint, but the two could have gone into more of their lives in this disc.
