Cam'ron Confirms Mase's Rap Return

After years of being at odds, Dipset leader Cam'ron recently spoke on his reunion with Mase and explained what it would take to get the two former rap partners to perform together on-stage.

Killa also confirmed recent reports of the former Bad Boy rap star returning to the hip-hop spotlight through a record deal.

"I just did a song with Mase. Mase is my man, I wish him the best of luck," Cam said in an interview. "I hope everything work out for him. Right now, he's trying to figure his deal out. So whenever that gets situated, I hope that works out for him. If it works out [we'll do a show together]. If it makes sense. I'm not into doing stuff just to do it. If it makes sense then yeah, definitely." (Hip Hop Beef)

Mase recently hinted at a new music deal which required Diddy's cooperation and may involve his former Bad Boy home.

"We chilling, we chilling, we chilling," Mase said in an on-street video interview. "We're up here to make the deal go through. After we make the deal go through then we're gonna talk to TMZ. Aight? I thought y'all was slam cammin' me...After I talk to Puff, I'll be back to see you." (TMZ)

Cam'ron and Mase's recent reunion on last month's "Get It" track after nearly a decade apart is reportedly the start of more collaborations to come according to radio personality Miss Info.

"This is part of a bigger project' is what I was told," Info said in an interview. "What was so shocking is that no one's really seen them together or anything like that...Nobody knew they squashed some of their old disputes. But behind the scenes, they had resolved their issues, and they've been friends for a little while now...[Cam] also told me this isn't the only record that they've done...Last year, they got together, they played ball, in Jersey or somewhere like that, from what I understand. The friendship has already been in the works, which is what I like about how this record came outta nowhere. It's not a fabricated publicity stunt, which is what some people were thinking it was. They didn't get together only for a record. They were already friends." (MTV)

G-Unit's Tony Yayo recently spoke on Mase and Cam's reunion and why the rapper never signed with 50 Cent.

"Shout-out to Mase and all that," Yayo said in an interview. "I think that's cool they reconciled their differences, it is what it is. That's what people wanna see now...I really can't speak on [the contact] 'cause that was 50 and Diddy thing. That was a money thing. They was negotiating some millions -- they cool now. They under the same management." (Vlad TV)
