Diddy Books Jay-Z, Lil Wayne, Rick Ross & Drake For "Last Train To Paris"

Diddy has broken his silence on the upcoming Last Train To Paris album and said Jay-Z, Lil Wayne, Rick Ross, Drake and more are set to make the project's guest features cut.

While an exact release date has not yet been narrowed down, Puff said his Interscope Records debut will receive full support from labelhead Jimmy Iovine.

"The Last Train to Paris album is definitely a perfect fit for the whole Interscope system, because the album is pushing the envelope, it's something fresh and it's something new," Diddy said in an interview. "And we know that when Interscope gets behind an album and gets behind an artist that it breaks big...The thing about the album, it's not about the features. Each artist, they got down with the story line, they got down with the movement. I think that's when features work -- when people come into your work and they adapt to what you're trying to portray." For the album, Diddy has lined up some big names to join him including Drake, T-Pain, Rick Ross, Lil Wayne and possibly Jay-Z. (MTV)

The project will mark Diddy's first release under Interscope.

"I had started some previous business relationships with Jimmy Iovine," Diddy said in an interview. "I am not abandoning any of my artists over there, I still have that imprint. But all my future recordings, including my recording contract, that will be at Interscope Records...We are going to take our time with the amount of acts that we sign...We want to find those very unique artists. We want to build something very special that's not already out there." (All Hip Hop)

Diddy has also recruited a star-studded line-up of producers.

As with all of his albums, the new CD will include collaborations with hot-right-now producers The-Dream and T-Pain and perhaps overly familiar names on the urban-pop front; The Neptunes, Rodney Jerkins, Mario Winans and Tricky. (Baltimore Sun)

The album was originally slated for a fall release.

"It's deeper than any of the other stuff I have ever made," Diddy said. "Last Train to Paris comes out in September...T-Pain gave me permission to use the vocoder, the auto-tune, and he showed me various tricks that nobody knows but him and myself." (All Headline News)
