Hip Hop veteran and "Queen B" Lil Kim announced to the Post Chronicle that she intends to secure a publishing deal. Known for her relationship to Notorious B.I.G. as well as several acclaimed albums, the Brooklyn-born emcee intends to write about her experiences in 2005 and 2006, while incarcerated in Philadelphia's Federal Detention Center, for purgery charges from a 2001 shooting.
Having appeared recently on Dancing With The Stars, the rapper, who received five mics from The Source magazine for her 2005 album The Naked Truth, Lil Kim's been quiet about plans to release a formal album. Instead, the Junior M.A.F.I.A. co-founder will reportedly title her book The Price of Loyalty.
She told the Chronicle, "It's about the things I learned and went through...You don't think about things until it happens to you. The book is going to give people who have been in those situations a bright outlook on life."
Publishers and dates have yet to be revealed.
